This course is suitable for beginners and existing operators who use scissor lifts as part of their work. It is ideal for maintenance personnel, warehouse staff, contractors, electricians, facility management teams, painters, installers, and anyone required to work safely at height using a Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP).
Malaysia does not issue a government driving licence specifically for scissor lift operators. However, employers are legally responsible for ensuring operators are competent, adequately trained, and authorised before operating a MEWP under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and related workplace safety regulations.
The course is designed based on Malaysian occupational safety requirements and industry best practices for Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs). Employers should ensure the training provider delivers practical competency-based training that meets workplace risk assessment and safety management requirements.

No. The course is suitable for first-time operators as well as experienced personnel who require refresher training or employer competency assessment. Trainers guide participants through both theory and practical sessions.

of the course will be awarded with only a Certificate of Attendance.
